Today: Early rain, with snow on hills and in parts of the east, clearing to leave a very windy day with a mixture of sunny intervals and blustery showers, heavy or prolonged in places. Tonight: Showers becoming confined to western fringes and winds easing somewhat. More general cloud later is likely to bring a few outbreaks of rain. Monday: Sunny spells and blustery showers, the showers mostly over the western fringes and some could be wintry on high ground. Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Dry and mostly bright on Tuesday with some sunshine. Cloudier and milder Wednesday, with a little rain or drizzle in places.
