Variable, rather large amounts of cloud at first, especially towards the northwest. Dry through the day with spells of sunshine developing in most parts, but still cold.
Tonight:
Dry, cold and largely clear in the south with a widespread frost and light winds. Cloudier towards the northwest at first, perhaps with a little sleet later.
Wednesday:
Bright at first. Soon clouding over with rain, sleet or snow, perhaps giving some temporary accumulations. Another cold day.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Continuing cold with clear or sunny intervals but also further showers, the showers falling as sleet or snow away from coasts. Windy on Friday.
